With the return of the EcoDiesel engine, the Ram 1500 indisputably becomes America’s most powerful half-ton diesel pickup. The third-generation Ram 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 returns 260 horsepower, best-in-class half-ton diesel torque at 480 lb-ft and best-in-class half-ton diesel towing at 12,560 lbs. Compared to the previous-generation EcoDiesel, that’s an 8% increase in horsepower and a 14% leap in torque.

The 2020 Ram 1500 caps out for max payload at 2,300 lbs. and max towing at 12,750 lbs. The model also impresses with class-leading ride and handling thanks to the segment-exclusive link-coil rear suspension system and the optional active-level four-corner air suspension.
Introduced in 2019, the massive 12-inch touchscreen Uconnect 4C system still leads the class in infotainment. The tablet-like display raises the bar with an intuitive design, advanced navigation, split-screen capability and 360-degree camera views. The techy setup is completed with the addition of the Driver Information Digital Cluster Display. Ram’s cabin also overshadows the segment for interior storage, offering an interior storage capacity nearly 2x that the closest competitor at 151.1 liters.
