The two all-new Jeep SUVs are different in many ways, but what you might not expect is that the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are actually identical in size. Both measure 214.7 inches in length and offer a total interior passenger volume of 27.4 cubic feet. The interior layout is the same as well with seating for seven or eight passengers and 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third-row seats in both cases. Instead, differences between the 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are largely shown in luxuriousness and performance.
From the outside differences are noticeable albeit subtle. The Grand Wagoneer is the most premium looking of the two, featuring more chrome, a black accent roof, copper-colored tinted windows, unique premium LED lighting, and a distinctive hood and grille design. The Grand Wagoneer also has power-retractable running boards standard.
Inside the differences are more dramatic. The Grand Wagoneer has seven available screens, including a digital cluster display, center infotainment screen, passenger screen, two rear-seat entertainment screens, and comfort control screens in the first two rows that manage temperature and seat adjustment. The Wagoneer has only the cluster and main center touchscreen standard, but the passenger and two rear-seat entertainment screens are optional. Both models are clad in an upscale leather trim, but the Grand Wagoneer gets a more expensive Palermo leather upholstery with Satin American Walnut wood accents.
